Our view

I never tire of the view from my flat in Montpelier, Bristol. Yes I hate living in a flat. Thats decided. The dragging of numerous bikes up and down the stairs, listening to my neighbours sex habits, putting up with the freeholders greed and ability for leaks to cause absolute havoc have taken a toll on my sanity. But this view is a leveller.

Taken in-between the Hinterlands workshop and our talks this year when the summer was just starting to show it's face. Brenda Kenneally and Rebecca Harley were over my shoulder and I'm sure they will remember the striking light on this evening. Peace out.x

Christmas Day

I got this film back a few weeks ago from around christmas time and edited this frame up as part of a set to show the other day. It's just as it came out of the camera/scanner.

I love it and that's pretty much it really.

It's my old school just as the light was fading on christmas day. Before this lovely walk I had drilled through the electrics (accidentally obviously) and cut the power to the whole house and after this we barbecued some steaks for christmas dinner (with all the trimmings obviously). Yum.

Foraging

My brother and I both share a passion for food. So when he invited me out on a foraging expedition with a friend the other week I could hardly say no. Paul (my brother) and Bradley armed themselves with receptacles, a flask of tea and a guide to edible wild plants whilst I loaded my trusty Bronica up for a days strolling.
